The Customer Development Manifesto: Reasons for the Revolution (part 1)

This week we stumbled across another very interesting article of Steve Blank sharing his wisdom about successful start ups.
In the article "The Customer Development Manifesto: Reasons for the Revolution (part 1)", Steve Blanks describes the Product Development Model him and several start ups had been following and points out its most crucial flaws which have been preventing startups from being successful. He strongly advises start ups and also founders (not just marketing and sales people) putting their focus on the customer with constantly testing their hypothesis along the way and staying agile, learning from missteps and being able to rapidly change direction at all times.
We have learned how important the determination and definition of the hypothesis are for a start up and that it can be quite difficult to formulate them correctly. Us as founders need to stay agile and not just simply execute the business plan but try to be in constant customer contact.
